The 3 Best Mister Twister Colors to Use When Fishing For Bass |
The Weedline – Where the Monster Bass Hang |
Mister Twister's are excellent for catching Bass and a whole lot of other fish as well. Mister Twister's are little soft plastic fishing lures that usually have a curly tail that spins as they are reeled through the water. They come in numerous colors – solids, stripped, poke-a-dot and everything in between. My mission was to conduct a small questionnaire experiment with a few friends of mine to try and determine which colors seem to be the best at landing the big fish. As a result of my experiment, I can tell you that my opinion, and the opinion of a half dozen Michigan Bass fisherman friends of mine, is that there are only 3 really good Mister Twister color schemes that work really well. Here are our top 3 Mister Twister colors: 1) Chartreuse – The consensus between our group is that this color tends to work best on cloudy overcast fishing conditions. However, it has performed quite well in sunny conditions as well. 2) White – We all agreed that this color tends to work well in general daylight conditions. 3) Black – This color works very well at, believe it or not, night. We have heard differing opinions as to why this is true, but who knows. The best explanation might be that this color is more visible against the night sky than the lighter colors. Who knows… but it works. There you have it. Some good advice on which Mister Twister colors to use from regular guys that like to fish and have a ton of experience doing it. Note, however, we're not scientists or self proclaimed Bass Master guru's, but I'm confident that we know how to catch a Bass or two using Mister Twisters.
